Shirley Kwena Ngoasheng was born in Moletji (Polokwane) and raised in a big village of Moletji Ga-Ngoasheng and Pretoria. She has a diverse background in finance. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Johannesburg. She completed SAICA articled from PwC and thereafter joined Transfix Transformers South Africa as a finance controller. She has worked for various other companies in Johannesburg, working her way up to being a group financial manager. She joined Quizzical Pictures on the 15th of March 2022 as a Financial Manager with iNN2 production for Netflix being her debut production.
By 2024, she has worked on more productions thus enhancing her knowledge of production accounting and the television industry. She has worked on, Dark Hearts, Reyka2, Jozi Movie, Savage Beauty 2, Hartklop, Fathers matters and Heist City to date.
A bubbly Shirley Kwena Ngoasheng finds true joy in being both on set and in the office, but more importantly imparting the finance knowledge and enriching her team with financial knowledge while ensuring that we all grow together, and no one gets left behind. She prides herself in the professional growth and development of her colleagues and team. Working closely with different individuals from different walks of life makes her work so colourful and fun to juggle. Outside of work, she is a gym enthusiast who still dreams of a 6 pack and killer “summer body”. A Christian who is dedicated to her faith and community. A dedicated mother to her children and family at large, who shares a great amount of time with those she holds dear to her heart.
She lives by a few mantras, to mention a few.
